SimpliFiber Residential Acceptable Use Policy

Use of SimpliFiber Internet and Phone Services, including the common area Wi-Fi service (collectively, "Services"), provided by SimpliFiber LLC, located at 748 W Heritage Park Blvd #201, Layton, Utah 84041, United States (referred to as "SimpliFiber"), is subject to this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to the SimpliFiber Residential Terms of Service and any applicable Additional Terms.

You agree not to use, or allow third parties to use, the Services for any of the following purposes:

Prohibited Uses

  • Misuse of Equipment: Using any SimpliFiber-provided equipment, such as routers, modems, or phone boxes, for any purpose other than its intended use in connection with the Services.
  • Violation of Legal Rights: Violating or encouraging the violation of the legal rights of others, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal protections.
  • Unlawful or Harmful Activities: Engaging in any unlawful, invasive, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent activities through the Services.
  • Distribution of Malicious Content: Intentionally distributing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature.
  • Commercial Server Operations: Operating servers for commercial purposes. Personal, non-commercial use of servers that comply with this AUP is permitted, including using virtual private networks (VPNs) to access services in your residence or using hardware or applications with server capabilities for activities such as multi-player gaming, video-conferencing, or home security.
  • Unsolicited Commercial Email: Generating or facilitating the sending of unsolicited bulk commercial email via the Services.
  • Unauthorized Sharing or Resale: Making the Services available to anyone outside the property to which the Services are delivered, reselling the Services directly or indirectly, or creating substitute or related services through the use of or access to the Services (e.g., providing Wi-Fi services to third parties outside your residence), unless explicitly approved by SimpliFiber in writing.
  • Interference with Services: Interfering with the use of the Services or the equipment used to provide the Services by other customers or authorized users.
  • Tampering with Services: Altering, disabling, interfering with, or circumventing any aspect of the Services, including but not limited to security features or operational mechanisms.

Enforcement

Failure to comply with this AUP may result in the suspension or termination of your Services, at SimpliFiber’s sole discretion, with or without notice. SimpliFiber reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take appropriate action to protect the integrity of the Services and the rights of other users.
